Modular attachment · SERE Direct Action

The S-DA 750 battle axe.

SERE Direct Action (S-DA) 750 · Expeditionary Modular Multipurpose Battle Axe

Hybrid transformational technology for cross-contingency operations. The S-DA 750 solves problems by applying instinctive techniques built on common-sense physics: a cognitive upgrade to dexterity. It leverages the operator’s resourcefulness, which is limited only by the operator’s imagination.

Like the rest of the SERE product line, it delivers enhanced capability, modular multi-functionality, spread load, reduced weight, a reduced physical footprint, situational flexibility and greater speed in action.

Why it matters

Six advantages, one attachment.

Modular multi-functionality

One attachment in a system of integrated tools that work alone or in combination as a force multiplier.

Spread load

Part of a SERE line built to spread the load rather than stack it on a single tool.

Reduced weight

Part of the SERE line’s drive to cut weight from what the operator carries.

Reduced footprint

A reduced physical footprint in the pack, the vehicle and the kit.

Situational flexibility

Hybrid, transformational technology for cross-contingency operations.

Speed in action

Instinctive techniques and common-sense physics, so the operator acts faster.

How it fits the SERE system

The axe at the center of the modular kit.

The S-DA 750 joins the components of the SERE line, which work on their own and combine with each other as a force multiplier.

Preparedness

Critical tools, at the ready.

A progressive solution that prepares assets on the ground. Each component works on its own and combines with the others, so one system covers the tasks that used to need a bag of separate tools.
